The party bus for a stag or stagette is a great way to have transportation for the day, or night.
The Bachelor or Bachelorette party bus is usually for a larger group, then the cost becomes very reasonable when you split it up among all the party members. There are a large range of sizes, types and amenities you can look for when renting a bus. I highly recommend a bus when you are planning to go to several different places throughout the night or day. Taking cabs to and from each location will not be cheap and you’ll have to take several cabs at the same time if your group is any larger then about 6 people. Most cabs can only carry 4 people, unless you find a van cab, which are rare in some areas, then you can carry a whopping 7 people at the most. What do you do when you have a bachelor or bachelorette party of 20 people? You’ll need 3 cabs , to and from each location…. Bring your visa.
Seriously though, why not get a bus, rent it for the day. A common yellow bus rental is probably the cheapest route you can take. Expect to pay between $300 and $500 for 12 hours of door to door service, and if you split that between 20 people, it’s about $20 each. You can’t take cabs all over for that price.
Now, as the level of “niceness” and quality of a party bus goes up, so does the price. So depending on your budget and number of bachelor or bachelorette party guests, you will have a variety of party buses to choose from. You can get party buses and limousines that range in size from 10 passengers, up to 57 for a full size coach.
For a medium sized group, I would recommend a 24 passenger type bus. A decent luxury tour bus ( comes equipped with a dancing pole too ) ranges from $150 to $250 an hour. These party buses are usually catered to the bachelor and/or bachelorette party and can be stocked with a full bar too. They also come with a great stereo system, ice chest full of ice, cool lighting, mp3 player and even big screen video. Almost all of these type of limo style party buses have fully tinted windows for full privacy… if you hire someone to demonstrate how the dancing pole is to be used.
You have to figure out your travel costs and if a bus will suit your needs. Also, if you are going to just tour around the city and party in the bus, then you will want extra room and one of the more limousine style buses. For a group of 25, you will need a 30+ passenger bus. You do not want to crammed in there either, give yourself some room.
